Zeina Khoury’s height helped her become a model – but it was a ‘dark time’

“Run from what’s comfortable. Forget safety. Live where you fear to live. Destroy your reputation. Be notorious.”

Dear Readers,

Please find below an article that was published in US Today News  on Zeina Khoury, star of Netflix Show ‘Dubai Bling’. Eating Disorders don’t discriminate and affect everyone. Though in past few years a minimalist effort has been made to create awareness of Eating Disorders and their impact on Muslim fasting during the month of Ramadan, but sadly majority of Muslims are completely unaware of this mental disease that is silently killing people cross the globe. One good thing that came out of Dubai Bling was how Zeina Khoury spoke about her challenge with an Eating Disorder and body dysmorphia. We need more influential people to come out and speak about this illness, we need to create awareness on grass root level, so we as a society can fight this illness collectively. Please read the article below. We share this article for research and information purposes only. Thank you M***** for sharing this story with us and for your opinion.

As a woman in her middle ages, I was deeply moved by Zeina . I have battled bulimia all my life, its an illness which is hidden from everyone. It’s an illness that doesn’t just control my life but has compromised my lifestyle. We are same age, and it makes me so emotional to know that this illness doesn’t just impact but other arab women as well. I couldn’t talk about this illness, because I myself didn’t know what was happening . I always had pressure to stay certain size, and to fit into that mold, I have spent decades, lifetime being stuck in a horrific cycle of bulimia. May God help and guide us all.

Zeina Khoury’s height helped her

become a model – but it was a ‘dark

Dubai Bling has been a huge hit on Netflix since it was released on the streaming service in October 2022. Lojain Omran, Ebraheem Al Samadi, DJ Bliss, Safa Siddiqui and Zeina Khoury are all cast in the new series. During Dubai Bling, Zeina KhouryCo-star Safa asks her to model clothes for her runway show, saying, “You’re the size and everything, you’re going to look beautiful.”

With Safa saying that Zeina “has the size” she doesn’t have, fans want to know more about Zeina Khoury’s size. Let’s take a look at how tall Zeina Khoury is and her career from modeling to starring in Dubai Bling.

Zeina’s modeling career

When asked to model during Dubai Bling, Zeina Khoury said: “It just reminds me of a time in my life that I don’t like.”

She explained that she “promised” herself that she would not model anymore.

Zeina said she modeled “a long time ago” where she weighed “five or six kilos more than the standard model.”

She added it was “too much pressure” and told Safa she was “borderline bulimic”.

Zeina admitted it was a “very, very dark time” in her life.

Due to the fact that Zeina’s time as a model was a “dark time” for her, she doesn’t seem to have posted any throwback photos on her Instagram page. A 2009 Gladiators post describes Zeina as a “Lebanese model” and the show’s host.

Greatness by Zeina Khoury

Dubai Bing star Zeina will be 39 in 2022. She said she’s now “learned to love her imperfections.”

Zeina’s height was a topic of conversation during the 5th episode of Dubai Bling as Safa needed someone to model clothes for her first ever fashion show. Not wanting to model the dresses, Zeina asked, “How would this size fit me? I’m size 40, 42.”

Multiple online sources including Celebs Week, My Imperfect Life and Showbiz Cast estimate that Zeina is 5ft 7in tall.

Zeina’s co-star Safa’s height is estimated at 5ft 3in by Celebs Week.

She’s a self-made businesswoman

Zeina is now not only a reality TV star but also a self-made success.

Discussing Dubai Bling, Zeina said some of the performers were born into wealth, while others made their own money.

She writes on Instagram that she is a graduate of London Business School and CEO of High Mark Real Estate.

Zeina adds that in her IG bio she “encourages you to think big”. She is married to Hanna Azzi and the couple have two children.

She has 238,000 followers on Instagram at @thezeinakhoury.
