Please find below a healing recipe from a short one day course I attended in 2014. These Healing Foods are excellent in recovery from Eating Disorders.
You can’t go wrong with this bar. It’s packed with super goodness.
Healing Foods for the Digestive System
Oat, Apricot and Brazil Nut Fruit Bars

Makes 12
Source of protein / fibre / selenium / iron / supports good energy
Ingredients
200g Brazil nuts
60g oats or buckwheat flakes
30g ground chia seeds
250g ready to eat apricots, chopped
3 heaped tbsp protein powder plain or vanilla flavour
Zest of 1 orange
Pinch of sea salt
Method
Place the nuts and oats in a food processor and process until fine. Add the rest of the ingredients and pulse until the mixture comes together to form a firm dough. This may take a few minutes.
Press the mixture into a 20cm square pan lined with baking parchment and freeze for at least one hour. When frozen, cut into 12 bars. Store in the fridge or freezer until needed.

I do also advocate recovery, mostly gambling addiction, and alcohol abuse. But, let’s face it, we know addiction is addiction and the “cycle” is the same no matter the type of addiction. Great work you are doing here.
