“If anyone travels on a road in search of knowledge, Allah will cause him to travel on one of the roads of Paradise.
The seeking of knowledge is obligatory for every Muslim. [both male and female]
Seek knowledge from the cradle to the grave
Four things support the world: the learning of the wise, the justice of the great, the prayers of the good, and the valor of the brave”
Dear Readers,
We take our war against Eating Disorders into heart of Pakistan. Our second stop last week was educating men and youth on Eating Disorders. We believe Eating Disorders don’t discriminate and affect everyone. We believe everyone in Pakistan, regardless of age, cast, creed, should know about Eating Disorders. We don’t believe in targeting a specific marginalized group of society instead we believe education is for everyone and everyone has an equal right to knowledge. If one doesn’t understand the language of ED then we believe one should simplify the language, get an interpreter and get the message across. Eating Disorder is a global endemic and it needs to be defeated at all costs.
We believe in words of NEDA: Get in the Know.
Lets work together to support ED awareness for all in the Pakistan. This can save lives. Early identification of ED empowers individuals to take action that benefits their health and well-being. When diagnosed early, ED can be treated successfully and people can go onto live the life they deserve to live.
