of human blessings, and learn how by his own
thought to derive benefit from his illnesses.”

― Hippocrates

Dear Readers,

I am honored to share with you a recipe by Habiba Anwar, a brilliant mummy and a fantastic blogger behind Eat, Write Be! This recipe was originally created for Habiba’s 14 month old baby daughter Baby K (she’s soooo cute). According to Habiba “she rejected it before it even got near her lips (yes, we’re at that stage). So I gulped this down and it’s so good!

I also gulped it down and it’s fantastic. I sent the recipe to three other people, who are currently in recovery from their ED and they all loved it. Please find below one very touching review.

Importance of Vitamin C in Recovery from ED

Vitamin C plays a crucial role in the formation of collagen, a major component of connective tissue. Connective tissue has structural and supportive functions which are indispensable to blood vessels and all tissues within the body. Vitamin C is also important in the proper functioning of the immune system, iron absorption, cholesterol metabolism and other biological activities

The reviews so far have been fantastic.

I’m in recovery from my ED and my therapist has been telling me to challenge my food fears. Last month my challenge was to incorporate another food in my diet. I tried this. It took me 45 minutes to finish it off, but it was so good. I have this 3-4 times a week now. I really like it and I really feel it gives me the energy first thing in morning.

About Habiba:

ImageProxy.mvc

Having lived in London for all of the twenty-something years of my life, I moved to beautiful Islamabad after I got married. Here, I live with my husband and our family, who are kind enough to allow me to experiment (food-wise) on them on a daily basis! I swapped my commuter heels for working-from-home slippers and am somewhat of an amateur cook.

This started out as a blog about my tried and tested recipes, but somewhere along the line I realised I just have too much to talk about! A blessing, of course. So now, this is where you’ll find posts about everything from weaning my baby to my favourite holiday destinations, and whatever else takes over my fingertips.
