Gum Disease Remedy, Receding Gums Treatment
I say that cleaning teeth has nothing to do with whether they decay or not. – Dentist George Heard
Dear Readers,
I received an email from a 24-year-old who’s suffering from a periodontitis disease. She also has been struggling with bulimia for eight years now. The repeated vomiting and addiction to carbonated drinks has severely affected her teeth. The vomiting has minimised now, but her oral health has further deteriorated. There are large pockets between her teeth and her gums are also receeding. She’s also had two root canals and has had four extractions. She asked me if I could recommend some home remedies and some solution for her problem.
Last year on August, 9th I attended Ramiel Nagel’s first ever dental health talk in the UK. I promise, I will write about that brilliant workshop soon, but meanwhile, please watch this video on Gum Disease.
What Eating Disorder does to your teeth? irreversible damage. Many of those who purge suffer from tooth erosion, hyper sensitivity, chronic sore throat, discoloration, gum disease and bad breath (halitosis). According to Dental.net: a person suffering from Bulimia Nervosa long-term will probably need to have dental repair work done frequently and repetitively, especially on the tongue-side of their teeth, which is the side exposed to harsh stomach acid in purging.
Quick Action is Required– Please visit your Dentist ASAP and seek help for your Eating Disorder.
On the path to wellness one must learn to recognize fear. Particularly within ourselves. Anger is fear, jealousy is fear, even some ignorance. Health, however, is born from love.
Some Tips
What you chose to think about plays a central role in creating and maintaining your health.
Sad thing is there is no real “cure” for periodontal disease. It is something you fight your entire life. Going for cleanings every three months and using floss are the single most important things you can do.
Brush and floss after every meal and rinse out your mouth with plenty of water after sugary drinks.
Avoid excessive consumption of sugar products as it increases the risk of developing plaque
Brush before sleeping every night.
Some Home Treatments
Ayurvedic Gum Disease Treatment Sesame Oil
This treatment has been recommended in Ayurveda for more than 3000 years to strengthen the roots of the teeth and gums. This is performed by tilting your chin back slightly while swishing with a small amount of sesame oil and pushing it back and forth through the teeth for several minutes. Then spit out the oil and massage the remaining oil into your gums with a finger and rinse your mouth with water. You can do this daily for a period of several weeks or until your gums improve. Tea Tree Oil Magic
I use this daily and it really helps. Apply few drops to your tooth brush and gently brush your teeth. I add few drops to a cup of water and swish my mouth with it.
The Tips below are taken from Find Home Remedy
Mustard Oil Gum Massage:
Mix 2 teaspoon of pure mustard seed oil with ¼ teaspoon of rock or sea salt and massages your gums gently. This formula can combat pyorrhea, swollen gums, toothache, and bleeding gums as it strengthens the gums and kills the germs.
Or
Turmeric
Turmeric is another common ingredient to be found in every home. Its potency to reduce inflammation and fight infection is well known. Take one teaspoon of turmeric powder and mix it with honey to form a thick smooth paste. Apply gently all over the gums and teeth. Leave for three minutes. Rinse with water. The gums will be soothed and feel less tender. Do it every night before going to bed.
Clove
Clove has amazing healing properties. The essential oils in it have antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties. It is a good source of vitamin C which helps in resisting infections.
Rub clove oil on the affected gums twice a day. If the oil is not available, grind cloves to a fine powder, and with your finger rub the powder on the gums and teeth and try to insert it between the teeth as much as possible. Do not rinse or wash away the powder. The gums will absorb the essential oils which will do away with plaque and bacteria.
Dentist George Heard’s Recommendation
I recommend people who have worsening cavities to take this suppliment with fermented cod liver oil because of their synergistic effect. They are mixed together in a product called Blue Ice Royal Blend by Green Pasture’s(1/2 teaspoon twice per day is a standard adult dosage).
Heal Your Gums with Ramiel Nagel
Gum disease affects 90% of the population. Receding gums is caused by plaque in the mouth. Removing the plaque reverses many cases of gum disease. The gum cleaning technique is a natural way to remove the plaque.
Gum Cleaning Brushes
These brushes contain special bristles that are not found in normal toothbrushes. The bristles suck up the plaque with great ease. The brushes also have rounded and polished bristle tips so that they are extra gentle on your gums.
The large brushes are for general gum cleaning. The small brushes are for cleaning behind the teeth or for children. The brushes come in assorted colors.
Note: These brushes can also be used as your regular tooth brush. Just make sure not to use toothpaste with them, or they may get clogged with toothpaste toxins. Instead of tooth paste, I recommend Herbal Tooth Powder.
Caution: Dr. Phillips did not recommend this technique for gum pockets more than 4 millimeters. This is not meant as a treatment for severe gum disease.
Toxins in the Brushes? The manufacturer of the brushes says that they are nickel, lead and BPA free.
