Stay Present In Your Life and Bulimia Will Go Away

0

Bulimia needs your mind drifting away from WHAT IS NOW to your past or future in order to multiply guilt & negativity.

Don’t let it do so and focus on today, on

NOW.

By organizing your daily life and meals, you have less time
to think and cry and you start “training” your subconscious
that your life is NOT a misery !!!

When you start living your life NOW (at this moment) and
give your full attention to whatever you do NOW (like
reading this email), you are getting better:)

After you finish one activity, move smoothly to another
without thinking about your previous activity. In practice
this means that after you read this email with your full
attention, you should move forward to whatever you have to
do next without thinking about what you have just read…

Stay Present In Your Life & Bulimia Will Go

Away

By Kate Walsh

By now, you have learnt a lot about how important it is to
repeat positive patters in your daily life. You are able to
help yourself a lot simply by concentrating on the present
moment instead on your past or future.

Every activity that “force” you to stay focused on the
PRESENT is very helpful for your recovery, but also it will
change your life in general.

Anything you find interesting: like yoga, martial arts,
ballet, acting lessons, painting, dancing, singing,
making videos, reading books, writing poems…anything what makes you to be right here right now is your cure!

When you are “here and now”, you are connected with the
“deeper” you (your real power), which has the strength and
the positive energy.

Alternatively, when you think about your past, considering for example “how stupid I was…”, then you strengthen bulimia.

The same happens when you start planning your future by thinking for example “after I recover, I will….” or
“I will never recover” (this statement is also your plan!)..
Your eating disorder needs your negativity to survive.

Don’t give it to it!

When you start living your life NOW (at this moment) and

without thinking about your previous activity. In practice
this means that after you read this email with your full
attention, you should move forward to whatever you have to
do next without thinking about what you have just read…

And It’s not about forgetting about your issues, but about
solving them!

When your negative emotions appear, do NOT ignore them! Instead put you full attention on them. You may want to
write them down, listen to music or cry…

Do it, but without thinking and “making stories” in your
head. Don’t repeat negative thoughts about yourself and your
life in your head.

Try focusing on experiencing your feelings (whatever they
are), without explaining to yourself what they are and why
they are. Focusing on your breath will help you.

When you feel your real emotion NOW and stop “refreshing” your old issues that you remember and replay all over again, then you will see that they are simpler and easier to deal with. And they pass..:-)

I DIDN’T LIVE MY LIFE AT ALL….

Somebody close to me told me once that I didn’t live my
life at all. He meant that I used to make up stories in my
head all the time, so I had no time for living my real life,
which is happening NOW.

Of course, I was very upset when he said this to me, but then
I realized that it was true!!! I realized that I didn’t
want to spend my precious time on drifting with my
repetitive thoughts and this is why I decided to start
practicing being “here and now”.

I must say, it wasn’t easy at first, but I didn’t give up.
With the time, the new quality entered my life:) I started
to change things in my life and make impact on others.

I managed to turn negativity into something positive!

I turned my obsession and long term research on bulimia into
my email course! And believe me, I would
never do this without stopping wasting time on repeating the
same stories in my head to myself!

I am sure that being present in the present WILL help you as well!
