Healing from Eating Disorder: Feeding is from God

Who has the right to feed? The Creator has the ultimate right to feed.

Proof of his ultimate right is that He is The Provider, Ar Raaziq, and The Sustainer, Ar Robb.

Even though He has the ultimate right over feeding, He has delegated the authority to his creatures.

Look at how mammals and birds feed their young instinctively! Look at other creatures that feed their young, and then think: any creature that continues to survive, generation after generation, is fed!

Glory be to God!

Feeding is a Test

Feeding is a test for us: something we can do well or do poorly.

Good food is for good people and junk food for junk people –

للخبيثين الخبيثات و للطيبين الطيبات

When Jesus was asked for a banquet to be sent from the sky, he said “Fear God, if you do believe”. It is reported in the Qur’an in surah Al Maa’idah:

️▪ قال اتقو هللا ان كنتم مومنين. ️▪

He didn’t just do what his people asked, but he tried to temper their ignorance, which is clear from his reply when they requested the miracle. He also didn’t allow himself to go ahead of God in the matter.

Allah has the power to legislate what we eat and do not eat, and when we eat, and how much we eat. Jesus knew that only God could legislate it.

The test of feeding is upon us all.

You might feed someone today. Will you have the fear of God that Jesus had? The power to feed people made him fear God more, it did not make him arrogant, and nor was he just thinking about making money.

Making Money Feeding

If we want to earn money feeding, it should come after learning to fear God when feeding people. Fear God when you feed others.

Do not think you can make money off people by feeding them just because they have to eat.

In fact, hungry people are vulnerable and are in need of concern and facility. Its a great shame that some food sellers simply take advantage of the needy condition of the hungry.

There are some food sellers that just use physical position for leverage. They’re willing to pay to get a position where they know hungry people are found, then they feed them whatever cheap slop they can get away with.

Governments should be taking back some of the premium positions to save their populations from the sickness that has come from the phenomena.

Selling off the stomachs of the masses to get fast money from the fast food industry is insulting to our humanity.

I’d like to see government restaurants with good food along commuter corridors, in airports, at sports events, and at other key feeding locations.

We are indeed vulnerable, because we have to eat several times a day. That means our feeders must be respectful and learn how to feed others properly.

Today the food industry is not doing this, because liberal economic and industrial frames have made feeding a business. Glory be to God.

Conclusion

The right to feed has been granted to mankind. It is general, but is particularly significant for parents, guardians, farmers, manufacturers, and those who can buy food and give it to others.

Let’s take it as an honour to feed someone and raise our game.

Be the best you can be and serve others well. They are going to be witnesses who speak about you.
